Learn how to play Yo! ® the dice game
The game Yo! has two sets of dice and eight wagers. Each wager is color-coordinated to match the dice sets. The game dice are the red dice, and the yellow dice are the bonus dice! This is a quick overview to learn how to play Yo!
Start play
Every player must bet the ‘Play’ wager to join the game. Players will place their bets, and gameplay begins with one player shaking and rolling the dice! The game dice will determine the outcome of every wager, and the odds paid for the bonus when it hits!
How to win
For a new game, the ‘Play’ bet pays:
- Game dice roll of 11 pays 4 to 1
- Game dice roll of 7 is a ‘Push.’
- Game dice roll of 2/3/12 loses
Any other game dice roll marks a new point, and gameplay continues. The objective is for the player to re-roll the marked point for everyone to win! If the game dice rolls a 7 first, then the point and associated bets will lose, and the game resets.
What’s the Yo! ® bonus?
Once a point is marked, players are welcome to bet ‘More’ and the ‘Yo!’ bonus! Every time the bonus dice roll 11, the Yo! bonus bet wins! This wager stays in play until the marked point wins or loses; and pays with every 11 rolled! The simultaneous roll of the game dice determines how much the bonus bet wins!
What is the ‘More’ bet?
‘More’ is an optional wager for players to bet odds on the newly established point. Payouts for a winning point are as follows:
- Point 6 or 8 pays 6 to 5
- Point 5 or 9 pays 3 to 2
- Point 4 or 10 pays 2 to 1
Players may bet the ‘More’ wager up to 10X their ‘Play’ wager.
